A work in progress.....
Blogging is brand new for me and I realize now how much work and effort is put into by all of the wonderful bloggers I follow! This page is a work in progress and will change as I continue to learn about the tricks and trends! I have been teaching for seven years and I spent the first six years in special education and this year I moved to a regular first grade classroom. This was a big change but one that I was ready to tackle. I also started first grade the first year Common Core was being introduce which ment throw out the old and in with the new! As I was trying to search for activites to align with the new units I came across First Grade Parade which turned me into a blog addict!! One addiction led to another such as Teachers Pay Teachers and I am VERY thankful for both! The activities and ideas that I have been able to use in my classroom are endless which has led me to this point! My classroom theme this year has been Hollywood which is where I created the name for this blog. This year has been wonderful thanks to the team of first grade teachers and the little stars placed my room! I am not even going to begin talking about all of the events of this year so stay tuned as I wrap of this year and give flashbacks of some great moments! Have a wonderful Friday!!!

I " started" my blog back in August with every intention of keeping it up through the school year....yeah, not so much. :) Thank goodness for being able to change the time and date settings before you post. :) The summer is definitely the time to get in the blogging habit.
